Thanks to Derry Watkins and members open gardens


Many thanks to Derry for a great lecture entitled “Unusual and Long Blooming  Garden Plants” in Deerpark estate Wednesday 25th May, and for our three members who opened their beautiful gardens Sunday 29th. ‘Medina’ owned by Karl and Marcella, ‘Kinnity’ owned by Louise Marks and ‘Oran’ owned by John Deegan.

Workshop on Vegetables, Allotments, Howth

Saturday May 14th 10am-12pm

Hosted on the gorgeous site of the allotments in Howth, this is a vegetable experience for the novice grower. A hands-on, practical lesson on how to set up a vegetable garden. Different starting techniques such as use of plug plants, growing vegetables from seed, staging supply will all be covered in this informative and functional workshop.
