A lecture by Averil Milligan, Head Gardener at Rowallane Garden, “Rowallane – a Plant Paradise”.  Rowallane is a magnificent, varied, fifty acre National Trust garden near Saintfield, County Down, famous for its display of plants from many parts of the world. Averil is the Head Gardener and has been at Rowallane for over 12 years. She is a very knowledgeable and engaging speaker.

Members, why not introduce a friend to HSHS by bringing them along to this event for free.  Admission fee for non members is €5

PLANT EXCHANGE & RAFFLE FOLLOWING LECTURE
At each lecture we encourage members to bring along a choice of plants for distribution amongst ourselves. Contributors get first choice followed by others for a small fee. If there are any leftovers they will be nurtured for future plant stalls at the shows.
