Thank you to David and Janet Jeffrey – propagation worskhop
It was a great treat for me to be 1 of 12 that attended the Propagtion Workshop held Saturday 21st May 2016 hosted by David and Janet Jeffrey in their wonderful garden on a beautiful sunny saturday morning. They were both so organised. To start we were given a printout out of what would be covered, receipe for various composts and recommended books. David started by giving us a brief background to propagation of plants particularly by seed and tips while using seed. We proceeded to a demonstration in the garden on the division of herbaceous perennials and information on how and when this should be done. Following a short coffee break & opportunity to enjoy the garden we were back learning a little more inhouse and following a futher demonstration in the garden we had the opportunity to get our hands dirty. Janet was so organised with pots, labels, bags, compost etc..everything one could think of ready for us. So well received by all that attended and we all went home with new plants and the skills to progagate for future plants sales. Thank you so much David and Janet from all who attended.
